Polaroids for the deceased
Taken this morning in the local cemetery with the Polaroid 110A camera I recently acquired from Randy Smith at Holgamods.
I don’t think Randy had this type of image in mind when he sold me the camera!
Anyhow.. I used to go to the local cemetery quite a lot as I had a friend there, he was pretty much like this person except most off his body was in a cement sack. I called him Erik, didn’t know his real name but the presence was off a man. This one though feels like a woman, I can’t explain why but I’ve called her Erika.
As always you can click on the image for a larger view, go on, you know you can’t resist.

that’s more like it! sod the flowers
excellent composition.
i wonder where the rest of poor old erika was?
Ha ha!!..
I understand that you like Erika, she smiles and is always quiet!!
Ah! The portrait! it’s fantastic. To my also I like it more than the flowers!!
p.s. “I wonder where the rest of poor old Erika was?” With Truman!!
P.s. I go on holidays without St. Iphone but I will return!!
Happy weekend for you and Erika!
Thank god you didn’t use the Polaroid for some unoriginal diptych! Points for originality!
cool ‘roid. never seen a skull (or half of one) like that in a cemetery. it wouldn’t stick around for long around here.

it’s composed so well, mike.
